Join the Future of Food conference

Farm Credit Canada (FCC) alongside industry partners invite the media to attend the Future of Food conference – in person – being held on Canada’s Agriculture Day, in Ottawa, Ontario on Tuesday, February 10, 2026.

The Future of Food conference brings together leaders, innovators, and changemakers from across Canada’s agriculture and agri-food industry to discuss key issues and opportunities shaping its future.

This year’s conference also builds on the 10 years of celebration of #CdnAgDay, highlighting progress to date and setting the stage for the next decade.

Pre-registration is required for this event. Contact mediarelations@fcc.ca for a media code to access free registration. Please note the conference will not be recorded.

Justine Hendricks, FCC president and CEO will speak to the generational opportunity before Canada’s agriculture and agri-food industry, and how the sector is uniquely positioned to address four global challenges at the same time: food insecurity, health, climate change, and economic growth.

The agenda is also filled with a series of panels and presentations on the most relevant opportunities facing the industry today.

Media representatives are welcome to attend all or parts of the program.

When: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. EST on Tuesday, February 10, 2026
Where: Rogers Centre Ottawa, 55 Colonel By Drive, Ottawa, Ontario
