CCGA Announces 2023 Board of Directors, Elects Chevraux as Chair

​​​Winnipeg, MB—Canadian Canola Growers Association's (CCGA) board of directors elected Roger Chevraux from Killam, Alberta, to serve as the association's Chair for a two-year term. The board also welcomed five new directors during the association's annual general meeting, held on February 28, 2023.

In his opening address, Chevraux thanked outgoing Chair Mike Ammeter for his years of service to the CCGA board and extended warm wishes to all the outgoing directors for their commitment to CCGA's vision of Helping Farmers Succeed. Chevraux also welcomed five new directors, including Pam Bailey, Jennifer Doelman, Joh Fehr, Christine McKee, and Codie Nagy.

CCGA's 10 board members represent five provincial canola organizations:

Secretary – Dean Roberts (SaskCanola)
Treasurer – Christine McKee (Alberta Canola)
Director – Robert Vander Linden (B.C. Grain Producers Association)

Director – Codie Nagy (SaskCanola)
Director – Pam Bailey (Manitoba Canola Growers Association)
Director – Clayton Harder (Manitoba Canola Growers Association)
Director – Jennifer Doelman (Ontario Canola Growers Association)
