Regina, SK – The 45th edition of Canada’s Farm Show (CFS) Regina, SK presented by Viterra, has concluded for another year. Building off the success of last year’s show, the indoor event saw a 20% increase in attendance which is also an increase in pre-pandemic attendance levels.

“The enhanced programming supports our pillars of Innovation, Education, and Collaboration,” said Kirk Westgard, VP of Agriculture, “our new initiatives and returning ones ensure there is something for everyone. We are building on the AgTech revolution happening in the sector and
are looking to new areas such Agri-value and Careers”

This year new initiatives resonated with show goers:
  • Premier’s Breakfast presented by the Regina Chamber of Commerce
  • Growing Connections Conference, presented by Farm Credit Canada
  • The Global Agtech Summit presented by Cultivator
  • Launch your Career in Ag event presented by Agriculture Manufacturers of Canada
“Our partnership with Canada’s Farm Show provides a huge boost to both parties and more importantly the Canadian Agtech Ecosystem. This year, the first-ever Global Agtech Summit at Canada’s Farm Show drew guests and speakers from across North America, the United Kingdom, and Australia—connecting founders, producers, and investors. With over $ 700 million in venture capital funding represented at the event, we can’t wait to see the impact in the next 6-12 months. We couldn’t ask for a better partner in Canada’s Farm Show and greatly appreciate the leadership of Kirk and his team” said Jordan McFarlan, Incubator Manager of Cultivator powered by Conexus.

The Global Agtech Summit was in addition to the very successful 24 Hour Startup | AGTECH which saw 33 participants pitch their unique agtech ideas to a full house crowd and an expert panel of guest judges from across Canada.

Once again, the Innovation awards were handed out and the winners were:
  • Accusampler UltraMT by VeriGrain
  • Binhalo by Adaptive Agriculture Solutions Inc.
  • InputsPro invented by Kristen Timmerman of InputsPro Inc.
The Innovation Showcase has been awarding new inventions and inventors for over 40 years and this year’s nominees are raising the game in new ways.

Canada’s Farm Show Regina, SK saw over 22,000 visitors, 350 exhibitors and contributes $19.2 million in Economic Impact to the Regina area.

The international component of the show is integral to the success and this year we had 115 international visitors from 70 countries. Over $81 Million dollars in sales were secured during the show.
