Brand New Growing Connections Conference added to Canada’s Farm Show Regina, SK line-up of events.

Regina, SK - Canada's Farm Show Regina, SK presented by Viterra (CFS), one of the largest and most influential agricultural shows in North America, is proud to announce the addition of the Growing Connections Conference presented by Farm Credit Canada (FCC). Taking place on Wednesday, June 21, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the AGT Lounge located in Mosaic Stadium, this exclusive ticketed event focusing on agri-food businesses will showcase local entrepreneurs’ products, inspiring speakers, and a chance to network with leaders in the ag industry.

“Agri-Food is an area of growth for CFS,” states Kirk Westgard, VP of Agriculture REAL, “and this conference allows us to bring together industry leaders and with the support of FCC, we are looking to grow our presence in this sector.”

The TED-talk style portion of the conference features Tyler Heppell aka Potato Ty, and Carly Minish-Wytinck from Smak Dab! With over 100K follows on Instagram, Tyler’s missions on the farm are to reduce food waste, become more profitable & educate the next generation farmer through social media. Carly Minish-Wytinck is a Red Seal Chef turned entrepreneur and founder of Smak Dab! Foods, which manufactures a line of premium mustards, sourced from Canadian mustard seeds and ingredients. The event will conclude with a networking hour with refreshments provided by an array of local vendors. Tickets are $50 per attendee and can be purchased at canadasfarmshowreginask.com. Tickets to Growing Connections include admission to CFS for the day.
