Join us for opening ceremonies of the 41st edition of Canada’s Farm Progress Show, presented by Viterra, on Tuesday, June 19 at 5 p.m. on the upper mezzanine of the International Trade Centre, Evraz Place.

The Honourable Lyle Stewart, Minister of Agriculture and Minister Responsible for Saskatchewan Crop Insurance Corporation, and His Worship Mayor Michael Fougere will attend to bring greetings on behalf of the province and city to the nearly 700 exhibitors and 700 international attendees from more than 60 countries who will be attending this year’s show.

Following the opening ceremonies, the 2018 Innovation Award winners will be announced. The awards honour agriculture’s best and brightest—those that continue to invent and re-invent to ensure the agriculture industry remains a strong and driving force behind our economy. There are a record-breaking 22 new innovations to be recognized at this year’s show.

A reception will take place immediately following the Innovation Awards at approximately 6:15 p.m. in the same location – upper mezzanine of the International Trade Centre. Media are welcome to attend.

Please RSVP to Shalyn Kivela at if you plan to attend. Enter the International Trade Centre from the main doors facing west and use the elevator on the south wall to access the upper mezzanine. There will be a member of the Canada’s Farm Progress Show to direct you.
