NEW RECORD SET FOR ILLINOIS FARMLAND IN RECENT SALES-U.S.A.

Landowner newsletter reports:

The Illinois farmland market rings up another record - $13,500 per acre. It came June 3, just eight days after setting a record of $12,900 per acre. Both sales were in Champaign County.

These aren't the eye-blinker $13,950 an acre rung up in northwest Iowa last fall. But, wow, they are close.

And there are more than one.
